About the speaker: Michael Sirilla is the former Director of Graduate Theology and currently Professor of Systematic Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 2002. He earned his Ph.D. in systematic theology from The Catholic University of America. His book, The Ideal Bishop: Aquinas’s Commentaries on the Pastoral Epistles (CUA Press, 2017) is a contribution to the field of ecclesiology. His other research interests include the theology and philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas, natural theology, and fundamental theology. He lives in Steubenville, Ohio with his wife, Laura, and their eight children.
