Psychology and the Soul: An Intellectual Retreat

This retreat is offered for students from the Thomistic Institute’s chapter at the University of Virginia.

Step away from the daily rush of life to pray and study the riches of the Church’s intellectual tradition with the Thomistic Institute. Throughout this retreat we will spend time learning from Plato, Aristotle, and St. Thomas Aquinas about psychology and the soul.

The retreat will have seminars and discussions framed by the traditional elements of a retreat (Mass, adoration, the Divine Office, etc.).

Schedule:

  • Begins with check-in at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21st

  • Concludes with check-out at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23rd
